A day on a private yacht is the classic way to see Cancun — but the Mexican Caribbean looks just as spectacular from the air. Through the YachtFlex family of companies we also arrange helicopter tours, private flights and day trips to Chichén Itzá by plane, so you can combine a morning in the sky with an afternoon on the water, or plan a once-in-a-lifetime surprise for someone special.
Helicopter Tours in Cancun & the Riviera Maya
Fly over the hotel zone, the lagoons and the turquoise reefs, or go further to Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Playa Maroma, Akumal, Puerto Morelos, Isla Mujeres and even Chichén Itzá. Helicopter flights are also popular for marriage proposals, bachelorette parties, weddings and quick air transfers between Cancun and the Riviera Maya. See routes and options on our Spanish-language site Tours en Helicóptero Cancún.
Private Flights, Air Taxi & Aircraft Rentals
Need to reach Cozumel, Holbox, Playa del Carmen or Mérida without losing half a day on the road? Charter a private plane, a jet or a helicopter with professional pilots and fly on your own schedule. Our aviation partner Renta de Avionetas Cancún handles private charters, air taxi flights and scenic tours by small plane.
Chichén Itzá by Airplane
Chichén Itzá is a long drive from Cancun, but only a short flight. A private air tour gets you to the ancient Maya city early, before the crowds, and back in time to relax by the pool or step aboard your yacht. Packages depart from Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya — compare them on Chichen Itza Airplane Tours.
Combine the Sky and the Sea
- Proposal by helicopter, celebration on a yacht — land the big question in the air, then toast with champagne on a luxury yacht charter.
- Chichén Itzá in the morning, Isla Mujeres in the afternoon — fly to the pyramids early and finish the day on one of our catamaran rentals in Cancun.
- Groups and events — pair air transfers with our large group yachts and charter bus service for ground logistics.
